Dramatic Alleyway Shadows

Band.

Blending genres of rock, metal, blues, punk, and funk... Societal Plague is an album that thematically exposes our own human weaknesses and frailties. From tracks like Mine which point a finger to our own greed, to Woke which attacks the self-righteous keyboard-warrior culture, each track provides a scathing view of our own humanity.

As an author I spent much of my life immersed in the world of literature and, in time, found myself looking for another creative outlet.

This led me wandering into the world of music. I got into music later in life but immediately found something I could immerse myself in through songwriting, as well as a cathartic experience in singing. My biggest influences are Type O Negative and Everlast.

Having heard and had music in my head has honestly been a haven and hack into having healthy and happy hope for humanity along

with huge heaps of humility.  Influences range from Zappa and Sabbath to Monk and Bird. Songwriting influence: Ray Davies. No one comes close to his skill and genre versatility.

Playing music is a physical and emotional outlet for me. It is what took me from a shy kid to a confident adult. When I was little I

thought musicians were cool and got girls. Turns out I was right. Favorite bands in the playlist currently are Story of the Year, The Hip Abduction, Soundgarden, 311, and Deftones.

Playing instruments has always interested me, and was a way to get away from chores at the house growing up.

It was also an outlet for me and probably kept me out of trouble. Today is still an outlet, but I don't think it keeps me out of trouble. I can play other instruments, but have always loved the role of the bass. Charlie Parker. John Taylor. Beethoven. Pink Floyd.
